I’m a simple Christian. I’m not saying being a Christian is easy—It isn’t. Please, let me explain. Psalm 23 begins, “The Lord is my shepherd, I have all that I need”, (NLT). I live my life as a sheep. Though I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, my Shepherd, around the age of eight, I’ve lived most of my life as a goat, and not a sheep.

My life was my own—my thoughts, my plans, my ways. And when life was good to me, God was good to me because I deserved it—It was my pride, too! And when life was not good–hmm, imagine that– (to be continued)
